There is a reason why Dr Mascaro and the whole practice has such great reviews. My son had back pain for over month and a half and after few test, PT visits his condition didn’t get better. Then we went to see Dr Mascaro and because of her and colleagues throughout examination they were able to find a fracture in the spine which was missed by radiologist at imaging center. Again I can’t praise her knowledge and care for patients enough.

Scheduling my appointment was seamless! I arrived to the office with films showing 3 separate fractures after a biking incident in Portugal. Dr. Hector, an excellent listener, reviewed my reports/films and explained my situation in detail. Although my hope was to receive some aggressive PT strategy and move on with my day, I was informed otherwise. Dr. Hector did not hesitate to connect me with a top orthopedic surgeon, who will be repairing my elbow. I am truly grateful for Family and Sports Medicine Institute. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mascaro is incredible. Her knowledge, plan of care, and bedside manner have been my life saver. I was in a life changing motor vehicle accident, Dr. Mascaro has helped me to steadily improve and regain my health - while also being completely honest about expectations and moving in small steps. Due to the type of injury I sustained, I may never be 100% of who I was before the accident, but 80% is more than I could've ever hoped for and I am forever grateful! I was disappointed that the Doctor did not use the ultrasound to check the interior area of my knee. Each Doctor whom I have seen used this to check for best site for the injection.It has been 6 months since my last round of shots and I would think it would be a good idea to look inside first prior to procedure. When I asked the Doctor she shared that’s it about knowing the anatomy. I understand that but since the opportunity is there to see inside the knee, think it would be good to use the scan. Dr. Was kind and supportive as was her assistant. Going for a shot in my left knee on Thursday
